Abstract: A wireless communication device is configured to perform resource access in device-to-device (D2D) communication. A user equipment (UE) is provided with processing hardware comprising application processing circuitry and baseband processing circuitry. The application processing circuitry assigns a per-packet priority to data packets in the application layer. The baseband processing circuitry maps the per-packet priority to a transmission priority in the physical layer and prioritizes access to a wireless resource pool depending upon the transmission priority. A UE having the application processing circuitry and baseband processing circuitry is also provided. A computer program product is also provided. An evolved Node B (eNodeB) allocates a resource quota to a UE based upon priority information from the UE corresponding to a D2D communication to be transmitted by the UE. Abstract: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to enhanced measurement reporting. The device may generate radio access network (RAN) measurement parameters to configure an E2 node in Open Radio Access Network (O-RAN). The device may transmit an action definition to the E2 node through an E2 interface, wherein the action definition comprises a measured value reporting conditions information element (IE) based on the RAN measurement parameters, indicating to the E2 node to generate measurement reports. Abstract: Various embodiments herein provide techniques related to a user equipment (UE). In embodiments, the UE may identify a received transmission from a serving cell or another cell (CDP) that has a different physical cell identifier (PCI) than the serving cell. The UE may identify, based on a sharing factor related to the serving cell and a sharing factor related to the CDP, an updated sharing factor.
