摘要: Described is an apparatus of an Evolved Node-B (eNB). The apparatus may comprise a first circuitry and a second circuitry. The first circuitry may be operable to determine a first Sounding Reference Signal (SRS) sequence and a second SRS sequence. The second circuitry may be operable to process a first Uplink (UL) transmission from the first UE incorporating the first SRS sequence over a first set of subcarrier frequencies. The second circuitry may also be operable to process a second UL transmission from the second UE incorporating the second SRS sequence over a second set of subcarrier frequencies. The second SRS sequence may comprise at least a first block that overlaps the first set of subcarrier frequencies and a second block that does not overlap the first set of subcarrier frequencies.

摘要: Technology for a user equipment (UE) operable for beam management is disclosed. The UE can be configured to decode, at the UE, a transmission configuration indicator (TCI), wherein the TCI is configured for a control channel and a data channel for all bandwidth parts (BWPs) of the UE or all component carriers (CCs) of the UE. The UE can be configured to decode, at the UE, a synchronization signal block (SSB) or a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) for beam management with a repetition parameter set to “ON” transmitted in one BWP or one CC in a first set of symbols. The UE can be configured to identify, at the UE, a scheduling restriction for the first set of symbols for the control channel and the data channel, wherein the scheduling restriction indicates that downlink transmission in the first set of symbols is not expected.

摘要: In some embodiments, an apparatus of a Fifth Generation (5G) NodeB (gNB) comprises one or more baseband processors to encode one or more channel state information reference signals (CSI-RS) to be transmitted to a user equipment (UE). The one or more CSI-RS signals comprise a complex sequence mapped to a resource element (RE) such that all CSI-RS ports use an identical sequence for the one or more CSI-RS signals in a symbol. In other embodiments, the gNB comprises one or more baseband processors to encode a scrambling identity (ID) configuration for one or more demodulation reference signals (DMRS), wherein the scrambling ID configuration indicates one of two scrambling IDs to be signaled to a UE.

摘要: Disclosed are apparatuses for communication devices. An apparatus for a communication device includes control circuitry configured to determine a discrete Fourier transform (DFT) of a constant amplitude zero autocorrelation waveform (CAZAC) sequence appended with zeros in the time domain to generate a frequency domain interpolated CAZAC sequence. The control circuitry is also configured to determine an inverse discrete Fourier transform (IDFT) of the frequency domain interpolated CAZAC sequence to generate a demodulation reference signal (DMRS), and cause the DMRS to be transmitted through a cellular data network. An apparatus for a communication device includes control circuitry configured to perform a Fourier transform on a received DMRS to obtain a resulting signal, and use the resulting signal as a reference to demodulate orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols. The control circuitry is also configured to perform a minimum mean squares estimation (MMSE) channel estimation on the resulting signal.

摘要: Technology for a base station operable to encode guard interval (GI) discrete Fourier transform (DFT) spread orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) (GI-DFT-s-OFDM) data symbols for transmission to a user equipment (UE) is disclosed. The base station can identify GI-DFT-s-O 5 FDM data symbols for transmission to the UE. The base station can encode the GI-DFT-s-OFDM data symbols for transmission to the UE in a subframe. The subframe can be in accordance with a flexible subframe structure that begins with a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) sequence followed by a GI sequence in a first symbol of the subframe. The subframe can further comprise one or 10 more subsequent symbols in the subframe that each include a GI-DFT-s-OFDM data symbol followed by a GI sequence.
