Abstract: A brightness compensation method, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises the steps of: receiving a bitstream including encoded images; performing prediction encoding for the bitstream according to an intra mode or an inter mode; and compensating brightness of the current picture to be encoded according to the previous encoded prediction picture, wherein the step for compensating brightness includes a step for adaptively compensating the current picture to be encoded according to pixel units on the basis of the depth information included in the bitstream.
