摘要： An assistive shopping cart system for guiding a user and monitoring the user's physical and cognitive conditions in a shopping environment is described. The assistive shopping cart system provides assistance and guidance to a user based on a user profile. The assistive shopping cart system routes the user through the shopping environment using a shopping route generated based on the user profile. The assistive shopping cart system also detects and tracks user physical and cognitive conditions and user actions in the shopping environment. The user actions are used to aid in the completion of a purchase/transaction and generate shopping notifications for the user and others to understand the process of the shopping experience.

摘要： A method, apparatus and computer program for presenting locations of individuals in an interface are described. A region of interest is determined by a location and an orientation of a portable device in an environment. The region of interest is a cone of interest radiating away from the location of the portable device in a direction of orientation of the portable device. A set of locations of one or more individuals of interest with respect to the cone of interest in the environment is determined. An orienting background and a first set of representations against the orienting background are presented in an interface on the display. Each representation is of a respective individual of interest in the cone of interest. The interface is presented according to the location and orientation of the display. The orienting background contains a positional cue of a landmark of the environment which the portable device is oriented toward. The representation of the respective individual of interest is displayed only if the portable device is oriented toward the respective individual of interest.

摘要： Presenting locations of individuals on a display of a portable device is described. A region of interest is determined by a location and an orientation of the portable device. 摘要： A system and method for fine-grained privacy control of image and video recordings uses a model-based approach to solve privacy issues. The method includes steps of: receiving a digital capture of a subject bound by privacy constraints; receiving information regarding the subject, the environment, and the privacy constraints; using the information to generate a model image of the subject within the environment; associating a disposition tag with an appearance of the subject in the model image; and comparing the model image with the digital capture to determine coordinates in the recording where a privacy control action, such as a blocking action, should be applied.
