Abstract: An electron multiplier construction formed of a plurality of dynode modules. Each module is formed of a a ceramic wafer having two complementary, metal dynode elements attached thereto arranged to direct a stream of electrons through an opening in the wafer and into a dynode element of the next successive module. The modules are secured together in spaced, parallel relationship by metal post elements spaced-apart around the periphery of the wafers, each dynode element being connected to a different one of the post elements.
