摘要： A recording and reproducing apparatus includes a tray disposed within an outer casing and movable along a tray moving direction between retracted and extended positions. A positioning structure includes a locking member fixed on the outer casing, and a support member for immobilizing the locking member with respect to the outer casing in such a manner that the locking member extends upwardly into the outer casing to prevent movement of the tray with respect to the outer casing. A protrusion portion of the outer casing surrounding the locking member and extending in the moving direction defines the support member.

摘要： An optical disc drive for reading the recorded data on an optical disc is provided. The optical disc drive includes a chassis, a turntable and a pickup head. The inner top surface of the chassis has a protruding structure or an escape-prevention component. The turntable is disposed inside the chassis for holding and rotating the optical disc. The protruding structure or the escape-prevention component is located above the optical disc when the optical disc is placed onto the turntable inside the chassis. The movable pickup head is disposed inside the chassis for reading the data recorded on the optical disc. The protruding structure or the escape-prevention component shortens the distance between the top surface of the optical disc and the inner top surface of the chassis. Thus, the optical disc is prevented from escaping from the turntable when the optical disc drive vibrates due to an external force.

A tongue-and-groove mechanism includes a groove formed in one of the rear side plates and a tongue mounted on the other one of the rear side plates and extending into so as to engage the groove to prevent the lower and upper casing halves from separating.

摘要： A dual function operating touch screen module which applies to portable devices and operating method therefor are provided. The dual function operating touch screen module includes a touch screen, a sensor, an instruction executing unit, and a cursor transforming unit. The operating method includes the steps of displaying an image according to a touch signal input from a touch screen; receiving the touch signal to calculate a touch location signal; performing a corresponding operating instruction based on the touch location signal; and triggering and transforming the touch location signal to a cursor track signal which corresponds to the operating instruction, and display the cursor track signal on an output image signal after the output image signal is selectively activated actively or passively.
