Abstract: Provided herein is a recanalization system including (i) a handle located at a proximal end of the system, (ii) a first elongate member, (iii) a second elongate member, the first and second elongate members being movable relative to each other elongate member, and (iv) a recanalization device located at a distal end of the system. The recanalization device includes (i) a first end portion coupled to the first elongate member, (ii) a second end portion coupled to the second elongate member, and (iii) at least one strut extending between the first and second end portions. The recanalization device is configured to be (i) selectively radially expanded and compressed and (ii) axially moved relative to the first and second elongate members.
