Abstract: A magnetic-field-based angle sensor system includes a stator component and a rotor component rotatable relative thereto, a magnetic field sensor operating in saturation operation and a magnetic field sensor operating in linear operation, wherein the magnetic field sensor operating in saturation operation is configured to determine a rotation angle of the rotor component relative to the stator component, and wherein the magnetic field sensor operating in linear operation is configured to ascertain an external magnetic stray field acting on the angle sensor system. The angle sensor system further includes a control device configured, based on the ascertained external magnetic stray field, to compensate for a stray-field-dependent measurement deviation in the determination of the rotation angle carried out.

Abstract: An apparatus for determining an item of position information relating to a position of a magnetic field transducer relative to a position sensor. The position sensor is designed to generate at least one periodic measurement signal when the magnetic field transducer moves relative to the position sensor. A processing unit of the apparatus is designed to determine the position information based on a respective measurement signal value of a respective periodic measurement signal using a calibration function assigned to the respective periodic measurement signal. The assigned calibration function represents the respective periodic measurement signal using a Fourier series having a respective plurality of Fourier coefficients which differ from zero and are of an order greater than zero. The processing unit is designed to at least approximately solve the assigned calibration function for the respective measurement signal value in order to determine the position information.

Abstract: A packaged sensor chip includes a lead frame to which there is attached a sensor element designed to generate a sensor signal that depends on a magnetic field to which the sensor element is exposed; and a package therefor, wherein the lead frame has function terminals and wherein the lead frame has at least two calibration terminals that are arranged on two other opposing sides of the package, wherein the lead frame has conductive structures that connect the at least two calibration terminals, wherein the conductive structures are structured so as to generate a calibration magnetic field for the sensor element when a current flows through them, and wherein the conductive structures are part of a connection structure that connects a plurality of lead frames before the plurality of lead frames are disconnected from one another in a first direction in which the other two sides are opposite one another.
