Abstract: Technologies for depth-based user authentication include a mobile computing device to display a login image including a depth channel on a display of the mobile computing device. The mobile computing device determines a selection of a plurality of objects of the login image made by a user of the mobile computing device, generates a user-selected password based on a relative depth of each object of the plurality of objects selected by the user, and permits access to the mobile computing device in response to a determination that the user-selected password matches a device login password.

Abstract: A mechanism is described for facilitating smart monitoring of body dimensions according to one embodiment. A method of embodiments, as described herein, includes receiving a first request to take a first picture of a user, wherein the first picture is taken at a first point in time using a depth-sensing camera; automatically computing first body dimensions relating to a body of the user based on at least one of a first image of the body and first depth information relating to one or more parts of the body, wherein the first image and the first depth information are obtained from the first picture; generate a first three-dimensional (3D) model of the body based on the first body dimensions; and communicating at least one of the first 3D model and the first body dimensions to a display device, wherein the display device to display at least one of the first 3D model and the first body dimensions.
