Abstract: An apparatus configured to be employed in a user equipment (UE) associated with a new radio (NR) system is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a processing circuit configured to determine an NR-physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource to be utilized by the UE, for a transmission of a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ)-acknowledge (ACK) feedback message to a gNodeB, wherein the determined NR-PUCCH resource comprises a HARQ-PUCCH resource. In some embodiments, the HARQ-ACK feedback message comprises a feedback message generated at the UE in response to processing a downlink (DL) data transmission signal comprising data received from the gNodeB. In some embodiments, the processing circuit is further configured to generate a transmission of the HARQ-ACK feedback message using the determined HARQ-PUCCH resource.

Embodiments discussed herein can include BSs (Base Stations) configured to transmit scheduling information associated with a common control message via a beamformed DL (Downlink) control channel in each symbol of two or more symbols of a slot, wherein the DL control channel is one of a dedicated physical channel or a NR (New Radio) PDCCH (Physical Downlink Control Channel); and transmit the common control message via a DL data channel based at least in part on the scheduling information.

Abstract: Techniques discussed herein can facilitate configuration and/or multi-beam operation of a NR (New Radio) PRACH (Physical Random Access Channel). One example embodiment employable at a UE (User Equipment) comprises processing circuitry configured to process higher layer signaling indicating a NR (New Radio) random access configuration; generate a random access preamble sequence based at least in part on the random access configuration; map the random access preamble sequence to a set of resources for each of a plurality of sets of beamforming weights; process N RARs (Random Access Responses) associated with the random access preamble sequence, wherein N is an integer greater than one; generate a random access Msg3 (message 3); and map N copies of the random access Msg3 to a PUSCH (Physical Uplink Shared Channel).

One example embodiment comprises an apparatus employable by a UE (User Equipment) configured to generate a report comprising capability information associated with the UE, wherein the capability information indicates whether the UE supports multiplexing of multiple numerologies within a common symbol in a FDM (Frequency Division Multiplexing)-based manner; process first higher layer signaling that configures one or more control resource sets of a NR (New Radio) PDCCH (Physical Downlink Control Channel), wherein the one or more control resource sets are associated with one or more numerologies in accordance with the UE capability information; and demodulate a NR PDSCH (Physical Downlink Shared Channel) from a resource distinct from resources of the NR PDCCH.
