Abstract: An elevator installation includes a sensor by which vibrations generated during operation of the elevator installation are detectable and an evaluating circuit, which is connected with the sensor and by which the vibrations detected by the sensor can be evaluated. The detected vibrations can be compared by means of the evaluating circuit with a predeterminable operating value and a predeterminable threshold value.
