    摘要: To provide a wheel steering apparatus capable of exhibiting a stabilized vehicle steerability without transmitting an external disturbance torque to a motor rotor even when the wheel receives an axially acting external force, this wheel steering apparatus includes a reciprocatingly movable rod 3 drivingly connected with a support member 2 for steerably supporting a wheel 1, and a ball screw mechanism 5 for reciprocatingly moving the rod 3 in response to rotation of a drive motor 4. In a rotational transmission system for transmitting rotation of the drive motor 4 to a nut member 5b of the ball screw mechanism 5, a clutch assembly 6 defining a reverse input limiting means is provided for preventing a rotar of the drive motor 4 from being rotated by the external force acting on the wheel 1. This clutch assembly 6 used is of a design wherein although rotation can be transmitted from an input shaft to an output shaft, no rotation is transmitted from the output shaft to the input shaft.

The nut has a cylindrical portion in the axial middle on the outer peripheral surface thereof that becomes a fitting surface for fitting in a sleeve, and small diameter step portions in the opposite axial sides on the outer peripheral surface thereof that become non-fitting surfaces not fitting in the sleeve. A portion of a wheel steering shaft is provided with the screw shaft, and a plurality of balls are disposed in a rolling way defined between a thread groove formed in the outer periphery of the screw shaft and a thread groove formed in the inner periphery of the nut.

    摘要: A ball screw in a continuously variable speed transmission has an axially immovable pulley half (2) and axially movable pulley half (3) both mounted on a rotary shaft (4). The axially movable pulley half (3) is moved by a ball screw (20) so as to infinitely vary the belt wrapping radius and thus the transmission speed. A nut (22), forming one part of the ball screw (20), is immovably secured in both axial and rotational directions. A screw shaft (21), forming the other part of the ball screw (20), is movable in both axial and rotational directions. The screw shaft 21 is connected to the axially movable pulley half (3). The axially movable pulley half (3) is axially moved by rotating the screw shaft (21).

A nut (8 or 16), adapted to mate with the screw shaft (7), has a pair of supporting portions (14) at an axially central position on the outer circumferential surface of the nut (8 or 16) to engage one end of a link (2). The nut (8, 16) is formed with a screw groove (8a). Oval bridge windows (10) are formed in the nut (8 or 16) through a wall with a portion of the screw groove (8a) cut out over a distance of at least two pitches of the screw grooves (8a). A bridge member (11), forming the circulating member, is fitted in each of the bridge windows (10).

    摘要: A ball screw shaft supporting structure of a ball screw rotationally supported by a housing via supporting bearings has a screw shaft formed, on its outer circumference, with a fitting portion and a positioning shoulder. An inner ring of the supporting bearing is press fit onto the fitting portion via a predetermined interference. A steel spacer ring is fit onto the fitting portion from the outer side of the supporting bearing with the inner side of the inner ring abutted against the shoulder. A caulking portion is formed on the end of the fitting portion by plastically deforming the end of the fitting portion radially outward. The inner ring is axially immovably secured on the screw shaft by the caulking portion via, the spacer ring.

    摘要: An electrically driven linear actuator with a smooth motion of the ball screw provides an even load distribution as well as a stable motion of the balls and has an electric motor (5) mounted on a housing (4). A screw shaft (7) is coaxially connected to a motor shaft (5a) of the electric motor (5). The screw shaft (7) has a screw groove (7a) formed on its outer circumferential surface. A nut (8 or 16), adapted to mate with the screw shaft (7), has a pair of supporting portions (14) at an axially central position on the outer circumferential surface of the nut (8 or 16) to engage one end of a link (2). The nut (8, 16) is formed with a screw groove (8a), corresponding to the shaft screw groove (7a), on its inner circumferential surface. A number of balls (9) are contained between the screw grooves (7a and 8a). Ball circulating members (11), each being formed with an endless ball circulating passage, are positioned between the screw grooves (7a and 8a). A ball screw (3) which converts rotary motion of the electric motor into an axial motion also transmits a swing motion to the link. A pair of supporting bearings (13) rotatably supports the screw shaft (7). However, the screw shaft 7 is axially immovably relative to the housing (4). Oval bridge windows (10) are formed in a barrel of the nut (8 or 16) through a wall of the barrel with a portion of the screw groove (8a) cut out over a distance of at least two pitches of the screw grooves (8a). A bridge member (11), forming the circulating member, is fitted in each of the bridge windows (10).

A bridge member (5) is adapted to fit into a bridge window (6) formed through a barrel wall of the nut (3). The bridge member (5) has a connecting groove (5a) to enable the balls (4) to bypass the rolling passage to move into a radially outward circumferential passage. A notch is formed in the bridge member (5) to intercommunicate the outer and inner circumferential portions of the nut (3).
