Abstract: An image processing system processes a read signal read from an imaging plate on which a radiographic image is recorded to generate an X-ray image. The image processing system performs signal processing on the total output area included in the read signal such that the degree of change in density regarding a partial attention region according to the purpose of observation is larger than the degree of change in density regarding the non-attention region other than the attention region.
