    Abstract: An OLED display panel is provided which can control the problem of shedding even in high definition panels. Metal wiring 5 which conducts with an earth line of a flexible printed substrate 15 is provided on a substrate 1. A display area 2 comprised from a plurality of OLED elements is provided at the center of the substrate 1 and four low resistance metal films 3 are provided along each of four edges of the display area 2 on a surface of insulation films 8, 10 at the periphery of the display area 2. Among these, one low resistance metal film 3 conducts with the metal wiring 5 via a 3a.

    Abstract: The purpose of the invention is suppressing a kink phenomenon and improving the image quality of a display device. The display device has a TFT in a pixel. The TFT has a semiconductor layer, a first insulating layer under the semiconductor layer, a second insulating layer over the semiconductor layer, and a gate electrode facing the semiconductor layer with a gap. The gate electrode has a first gate electrode portion facing a lower surface of the semiconductor layer, a second gate electrode portion facing an upper surface of the semiconductor layer, and a third gate electrode portion facing a lateral surface of the semiconductor layer and connected to the first and second gate electrode portions. A laminated part where the first and second insulating layers are stacked is around the semiconductor layer, and a part of the laminated part is between the lateral surface and the third gate electrode portion.

    Abstract: A display device includes a plurality of emitting elements corresponding to a plurality of pixels. The emitting element includes a lower electrode, an upper electrode having a light-transmitting property, and a light-emitting layer between the lower electrode and the upper electrode. The lower electrode includes a flat portion and an inclined portion that is inclined obliquely upward and outward from the central area of the flat portion. Both of the flat portion and the inclined portion include a reflective surface respectively. The reflective surface of the flat portion has a light reflectance lower than that of the reflective surface of the inclined portion.

    Abstract: A display device includes: pixel electrodes that respectively correspond to unit pixels composing an image; an insulation layer that is arranged to be put on a peripheral part of each of the pixel electrodes and is light transmitting; a light emitting layer that is laminated in contact with a central part surrounded by the peripheral part in each of the pixel electrodes and is arranged to emit light with a luminosity controlled by a current; and a common electrode that is laminated in contact with the light emitting layer and is arranged to be put on the insulation layer over the pixel electrodes. Each of the pixel electrodes has a surface on which the insulation layer and the light emitting layer are put. The peripheral part is either light absorbing or light transmitting on the surface, and the central part is light reflecting on the surface.
