Abstract: A non-combustion flavor inhaler includes an aerosol generation unit, a flavor generation unit, and a mouthpiece end. The aerosol generation unit is provided with an aerosol source storage section for storing an aerosol source and an aerosol generation mechanism for generating an aerosol from the aerosol source. The flavor generation unit is provided with a flavor source storage section for storing a flavor source. The aerosol generation unit is provided with a first flow path extending from within the aerosol generation unit to the mouthpiece end. The flavor source storage section is provided with a second flow path comprising at least one hole that communicates with the outside, and a third flow path extending from within the flavor source storage section to the first flow path or to the mouthpiece end.

Abstract: The filter for cigarette product includes a mouthpiece end side-filter material and a front stage-filter material. The mouthpiece end side-filter material has a low air flow-resistance unit that is arranged in a part of a cross section from a front end surface to a rear end surface and having a relatively low air flow-resistance, and a high air flow-resistance unit that is arranged in the remainder of the cross section from the front end surface to the rear end surface and having a higher air flow-resistance than the low air flow-resistance unit. At least on the rear end surface of the mouthpiece end side-filter material, the low air flow-resistance unit is arranged only in one semicircular area, of two parts into which the cross section of the mouthpiece end side-filter material is divided.

Abstract: Provided is a tobacco raw material having a low content of specified polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and low-molecular carboxylic acids and containing a large amount of specified flavor components, and a method for manufacturing the tobacco raw material. The objective is achieved with a manufacturing method including: a step for drying pre-deribbing leaf tobacco after harvesting until the moisture content thereof reaches 10-25 wt %; a step for smoke-processing the pre-deribbing dried tobacco using thermally decomposed smoke at 400-500° C.; and a step for, after the smoke-processing step, storing the pre-deribbing smoke-processed leaf tobacco under partially sealed conditions.
