摘要: A driving mechanism for sliding a windowed frame guided by an outer frame. The sliding frame is attached to two vertical racks which engage with two pinions. The pinions are connected with a joint axle driven by a couple of engaged bevel gearwheels connected to a crank or to an electric motor. The joint axle with the pinions can be housed in a recess carved at the lower plank of a static window's frame.
A compact motorized option in which each pinion is coupled with a gearbox and both gearboxes are driven by a central electric motor also can be housed entirely in the static window's recess.
The motorized options also include: a control unit for controlling the direction and speed of the sliding, two limit switches for stopping the frame at highest and lowest positions, an electrical overload sensor which detects sudden sliding obstructions and a burglar alarm.-

摘要: Various configurations of Lace Ratchet Device (LRD) enables easy lace fastening and release. The LRD has two positions: “active” and “inactive”. In the active position the device works as a lace ratchet i.e. allowing the lace to be pulled forwards but blocks any lace motion backwards. After fastening the lace remains fastened until the LRD is switched into inactive position by pressing a lever. Each LRD has a turning gate with front end with sharp edge, rotatably installed in a channel. A preloaded helical torque spring keeps the LRD in active position when the lever is not pressed. Unlike prevalent lace fasteners with serrated surfaces, which cause accelerated lace wear, LRD's smooth front edge side and channel surfaces minimize lace wear. Parallel and triangular configurations of LRD pairs facilitates lace fastening of footwear, serving as “Ratchet Buckles”. Single LRDs can be used for fastening of garments and other objects.

摘要: A device for 3D wide angle viewing, comprising of goggles installed with a set of Vector Light Sources (VLSs) which emit narrow light beams each pointing only in one direction. The set of VLSs is divided into two hemispherical concentric subsets. All the VLSs included in each subset are pointed towards the center location of their subset. The device enables viewing of a pair of stereoscopic images when the center locations are adjusted to fit the locations of the user's pupils. Viewing of each pixel of the stereoscopic images is focused because it is emitted by VLS. The VLSs are constructed by installing each light source behind a lens which focuses the light into a narrow beam. The light sources could emit color using Red-Green-Blue triplets of Light Emitting Diodes, Organic Light Emitting Diodes, Liquid Cristal Displays or Laser diodes. Similar technique could be used also for flat screen displays.

摘要: A clasping device for anchoring beverage infusion bags inside a cup. The clasping device is tied with a string to the infusion bag and is mounted on top of the cup's rim. Two grippers with serrated surfaces grip at opposite locations on both sides of the cup's wall by pressing the wall with sharp protrusions which intensify the friction force between the grippers and the cup. The grippers' pressing forces originate from elastic forces which are created from forcing the gap between the grippers to widen when the clasping device is mounted on top of the cup's rim. The clasping device is manufactured from flat, resilient plate and has flat structure which enables to pack it along with the infusion bag in a flat package. An optional hollow figurine, which contains liquid additive can be attached as well. The string tying method into slits is efficient and inexpensive.

摘要: A button assembly configured for fast button attachment onto a garment cloth. The assembly comprises a buttoning structure and a retaining structure. The buttoning structure includes a button attached to a spacer attached to a pole attached to a terminal element. The retaining structure comprises a trapping mechanism housed in an aperture with upper opening with a rim attached to a planar plate which is divided into resilient flaps by concentric slits. Attaching the buttoning structure to the garment cloth entails piercing the cloth by the terminal element and inserting it into the retaining structure while bending the flaps. Further insertion releases the flaps which unbend and trap the terminal element inside the retaining structure and preventing its attached button from detachment. Thereby, attaching the button onto the garment cloth. The terminal element could attain a hemispherical or cylindrical shapes. A replaceable ornamental cap fits snugly the button's top.

摘要: A device for wide angle viewing, comprising of goggles made of opaque material which has been installed with at least one Vector Light Source (VLS). The vector light source is a light source which emits a narrow light beam only in one pointing direction. The set of said vector light sources are divided into at least one subset. Each subset has a center location. All the vector light sources included in each said subset are pointed at the same center location of their subset. Each such subset could be made to display an image. Another kind of said viewing device enables viewing of a pair of stereoscopic images by having two subsets of vector light sources each with a center location. The two center locations can be adjusted to fit the locations of the pupils of the left and right human eyes. In order to achieve vector light sources which emit narrow light beams, each of the vector light sources is installed at an end of a tunnel opening in the goggles and the tunnel opening has a predetermined width which is narrow enough such that the tunnel opening allows the light of its vector light source to propagate only in predetermined narrow range of directions. The light sources of the vector light sources could be made from Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) or from light sources controlled by Liquid Cristal Displays (LCD).
