    Abstract: Provided is a rolling straightening machine which enables outer-diameter-reducing rolling and straightening rolling of a pipe or tube material or a bar material at high speed with high accuracy. The rolling straightening machine includes at least two rollers arranged across a pass line of a pipe or tube material or a bar material, the at least two rollers having a gap therebetween, the gap being defined by an outer-diameter-reducing rolling portion having a diameter reduced from an upstream side toward a downstream side in the rolling straightening machine and a straightening rolling portion continuous from an exit side of the outer-diameter-reducing rolling portion toward a downstream side of the rolling straightening machine, the rollers having shapes which are symmetrical about the pass line in the outer-diameter-reducing rolling portion, and in the straightening rolling portion, asymmetrical to the pass line in the outer-diameter-reducing rolling portion.

    Abstract: A seamless steel pipe has a t/Dout of 0.05 to 0.40, where t is a wall thickness (mm) of the seamless steel pipe, and Dout is an outside diameter (mm) of the seamless steel pipe. The seamless steel pipe has a maximum depth dmax (mm)≤0.350 mm for defects in an inner surface of the steel pipe on a cross section perpendicular to a pipe axis. The seamless steel pipe has an average defect depth dave (mm)≤0.200 mm for defects having a depth of 0.050 mm or more in the inner surface of the steel pipe. The seamless steel pipe, per millimeter of an inner circumferential length of the pipe, has at most 30 defects having a depth of 0.050 mm or more in the inner surface of the steel pipe.

    Abstract: A rolling mill includes three or more rolling rolls aligned along a circumferential direction and arranged so each rotary shaft is skewed with respect to a pass line of a material to be rolled, wherein the material to be rolled made of a pipe or bar material passes between the rolling rolls while being rotated to undergo diameter reducing rolling. At least one rolling roll selected from the three or more rolling rolls is smaller in roll diameter than at least one other rolling roll. When at least one rolling roll having a relatively maximum roll diameter defined as a maximum diameter rolling roll and at least one rolling roll smaller in roll diameter than the maximum is defined as a small diameter rolling roll, the small diameter rolling roll has a roll diameter equal to or less than 90% of the roll diameter of the maximum diameter rolling roll.
