Abstract: Systems and methods related to an exhaust gas purification system comprising: an injector for injecting ammonia or a compound decomposable to ammonia into the exhaust gas, positioned downstream of an engine; a Cu-SCR catalyst positioned downstream of the injector, wherein no oxidation catalysts exist between the Cu-SCR catalyst and the engine; wherein the exhaust gas entering the Cu-SCR catalyst comprises an NH3/NOx ratio of less than 1.2.
