摘要: Various embodiments include a catalyst measuring system for determining the aging state of a catalytic converter comprising: an SCR catalytic converter; and a high-frequency measuring arrangement including a processor, a first antenna, and a second antenna. The first antenna is located upstream of the SCR catalytic converter in the exhaust tract and the second antenna is located downstream of the catalytic converter. The processor instructs the antennas to selectively emit and receive electromagnetic signals and evaluates the transmitted and the received electromagnetic signals to compare them with predefined threshold values. The processor determines an aging state of the SCR catalytic converter based on the comparison.

摘要: A decomposition reactor for an exhaust system includes an exterior component defining an internal volume and having an inlet and an outlet with the inlet and outlet are formed on a same side of the exterior component. A flow divider is positioned within the internal volume and defines a thermal management chamber and a main flow chamber. A first flow path of exhaust flows from the inlet into the main flow chamber to mix with dosed, and a second flow path of exhaust flows from the inlet into the thermal management chamber to control a temperature of a portion of the flow divider. In some implementations, one or more swirling diverters can be coupled to the flow divider and positioned proximate the outlet of the exterior component to impart a vortical motion to a combined reductant and exhaust gas flow exiting out the outlet.

The controller is structured to interpret, via a pump diagnostic circuit, first and second pump parameters indicative of first and second pump rates, interpret, via a dosing diagnostic circuit, first and second dosing parameters indicative of at least one of (i) first and second reductant flows or (ii) first and second injector characteristics, determine, via a delivery diagnostic circuit, a delivery status based, at least in part, on the interpretation of the first and second pump parameters and the first and second dosing parameters, and generate, via the delivery diagnostic circuit, a status command indicative at least one of an under-restricted delivery mechanism or an over-restricted delivery mechanism in response to the determination of the delivery status.

The space S, by the at least one opening, is connected to the vessel interior allowing the reducing agent to flow from the interior of the vessel into the space S and is suppliable by the conveying device from the space S to the exhaust gas.
