摘要: A motor controller includes control systems that control actuation of a motor. Each control system includes a drive circuit and a calculation unit. The calculation unit of each control system is connected to an independent rotation angle sensor. The calculation units include master and slave calculation units. The master and slave calculation units control actuation of the corresponding drive circuit based on a current instruction value calculated by the master calculation unit and a detection result of the rotation angle sensor connected to the master calculation unit. When the detection result of the rotation angle sensor connected to the master calculation unit is abnormal, the master and slave calculation units each use a detection result of the rotation angle sensor connected to the slave calculation unit to control the actuation of the corresponding drive circuit.

摘要: There is provided an onboard motor controller that starts a failsafe process in short time at a vehicle collision. A control circuit in the motor controller acquires an acceleration detected by an acceleration sensor. When the acceleration is equal to or higher than a prescribed value, the control circuit determines that a collision of the vehicle has occurred, and executes a switching process of a control mode of a motor. The control circuit immediately switches the control mode of a motor from voltage phase control to current vector control when the collision is detected. The control circuit reads current values from current detectors. When an overcurrent is detected, the control circuit executes a failsafe process to turn off the MOSFETs of an inverter. The control circuit stops a supply of electricity to the inverter by turning off a power supply relay, thereby stopping the rotation of the motor.

The voltage command value generation unit performs computation based on overmodulation PWM control as PWM control in the case where the application voltage that is lower than the power supply voltage is applied so as to output the motor control signal having a pulse width longer than a cycle of a PWM carrier.
