Abstract:
An electronic shelf label (ESL) holder, including an attachment member portion to be secured to a supporting surface, such as a C-channel, a holder member with protrusions for removably receiving and supporting the ESLs and, optionally, a cover member pivotally carried by the holder member to overly and protect the ESLs. The holder member includes a lip extending from at least one of the top or bottom fingers of the holder formed of flexible PVC material that is flexible relative to the remaining portion of the holder and is compressible for providing a tight fit of the ESL to the holder. The flexible lip is utilized in combination with a backing member which, in one embodiment, is a flexible PVC bead that extends along the length of the holder and, in a second embodiment, includes a relatively broad or wide pad of flexible PVC material that further provides a seal against the battery or other electronics of the ESL.
Abstract:
Label holders adapted to be mounted on a supporting surface formed of a grid of wire rods, such as a wire basket, a wire rack, a wire shelf or the like. The label holder includes a planar backing element supporting the label holder portion for viewing at a preselected angle, with a trapezoidal connector formed in the backing element to snappingly engage over a horizontally extending wire rod of the grid. The trapezoidal connector may include a plurality of flexible bumps or ridges for enhanced gripping of the wire rods of the grid. The remainder of the backing element rests against the vertically extending wire rods of the grid.
Abstract:
A label holder is hingedly connected to a clip portion grippingly engaged over a transversely extending rod at the distal end of a merchandise aid, such as a scanner hook or the like, or over a plate on the end of a scanner hook enabling the label holder to be moved forwardly to access or position product on the scanner hook, or, in some applications, rearwardly in the event of impact from a passerby. By selecting the properties of the hinge section, the label holder can be temporarily fixed in a selected angular relationship when the scanner hook extends above or below the eye of a viewer to facilitate reading information on labels carried thereby.
Abstract:
An electronic shelf label holder for mounting to both scanner plates and wire merchandise supports, such as wire racks or baskets, that are used in connection with retail merchandising. The label holder includes a holding portion for holding an ESL and a mounting portion that can be utilized for mounting to both scanner plates and wire racks. When mounted to scanner plates, the label holder can be oriented in different directions.
Abstract:
A display unit for use in combination with a shelf having a depressed well at its front end, the display unit providing a stop for merchandise resting on the shelf and being formed of a multiplicity of integrally formed panels, portions of which can be seated and locked into the well of the shelf, with other portions then being interengaged to rigidify the unit and preclude accidental collapse.
Abstract:
A label holder for use on a slotted angle member is in the form of a substantially rectangular plastic sheet having half-moon shaped depressible tabs at its opposite side edges. In use the tabs are pushed through respective slots of the angle member and the arcuate edges promote squeezing and compression of the tabs in the slots. The tabs are twisted behind the slots to secure the holder against the angle member. The tabs are defined as cuts at the opposite sides of the holder.
Abstract:
A label holder for use on the rim of a parts bin is made of a sheet of plastic material divided by transverse fold lines into five rectangular panels. The central panel fits on top of the rim and the outer panels are bend downwardly into substantially V-shaped configurations. The outer panels snap respectively into engagement with the front and rear portions of the rim to lock the holder releasably in place. The holder can be used with adhesive and non-adhesive labels.
Abstract:
A stand-up label or sign holder for use in supermarkets or bakeries is made of plastic sheet material and has a base panel at one end, a label or sign holder panel at its opposite end and an elongate stem connecting the panels. The base panel can be used to support the holder by folding the base panel at right angles to the stem so that the holder stands on the base panel with the stem extending upwardly toward the holder panel. The holder panel can be bent back toward the base panel to stabilize the holder. Also, the stem has lengthwise ribbing which promotes transverse bowing of the stem so as to resist lengthwise twisting or bending. The label or sign holder panel has tabs for retaining a sign or label. If the holder is made of transparent plastic, the sign or label is visible from both sides of the holder panel.
Abstract:
An elongate product information and display tag of plastic sheet is disclosed for use in association with a skyhook structure having a vertical limb extending upwardly from a mounting bracket secured to a perforated board and a horizontal limb extending forwardly from a hump-like bend which joins the limbs. The information and display tag has a mounting portion particularly designed for securing the tag on the hook structure at the hump-like bend, an elongate portion for extending over the horizontal limb of the structure and a product information and display portion at the distal end of the elongate portion for displaying product information forwardly of the horizontal limb. The mounting portion has an inboard section with apertures connected by an axial slit which is pressed down over the hump-like bend, and an outboard section which is bent down behind the hump-like bend and into engagement with the vertical limb of the hook structure by means of a further axial slit and aperture in the outboard section.
