Abstract:
A device for packaging and dispensing a flowable product comprises a casing comprising a nozzle for dispensing the product and a container designed to contain the product to be packaged. The casing comprises a rigid bottom, an air renewal and filtration assembly, a filter element, and an air inlet passage located in said rigid bottom. The nozzle comprises a tapered portion that defines a free end of the nozzle, an actuating portion resiliently movable between an engagement position and a rest position. A dose-defining chamber may be isolated from the air contained in the container and may have a determined volume in the rest position. The engagement position may be obtained by engaging the actuating portion against a stationary wall portion, so as to empty the chamber and expel a dose exactly corresponding to the determined volume of the chamber.
Abstract:
A metering valve adapted to be mounted on a container for delivering a liquid under pressure contained in the container, of the type comprising a metering head with an elastic membrane, an end-sleeve, a valve body and a piston sliding in the valve body and formed with a blind central bore and a radial throughgoing hole opening into the central bore. The valve body is made of two portions, a lower portion positioned to be located inside the container when the valve is mounted on the container and an upper portion applied on the lower portion positioned to be inside the container, but extending outside the container on a major portion thereof when the valve is so mounted. The upper portion of the valve body is formed with a bore in which slides a piston limited upwardly by a shoulder forming an abutment for the piston. The piston is formed with an outer annular groove in its central portion surrounded by two O-rings. The radial throughgoing hole of the piston opens into the annular groove.
Abstract:
The device comprises a rigid container, a manual pump mounted on the container for dispensing in unit doses the product contained in the container and a filter for filtering outside air entering the container when the pump is actuated. The pump has no air intake in the container and the filter is arranged in an air intake passage provided in the base of the container, which is injection-moulded. The invention is useful for packaging and dispensing of fluids, in particular liquids, which need to be maintained germ-free.

Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for packaging and dispensing a generally liquid or viscous product, including a container for containing the product to be packaged and dispensed in the form of clean or sterile calibrated doses or drops using a dispensing accessory including a tip, wherein the assembly of the container and the accessory includes an additional flexible and deformable chamber actuated simultaneously with the accessory and capable of either sucking the residual drop at the end of said accessory after dispensing a calibrated dose or drop, or of blowing said calibrated dose or drop without permitting the formation of a residual drop. The invention can be used for packaging and dispensing clean or sterile products, in particular doses or drops in the field of ophthalmology.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for packaging and dispensing a liquid, semi-fluid or suspended product, comprising a container which houses the product to be dispensed through a nozzle, as well as a unit for changing and filtering the air entering the container following the dispensing of the product. According to the invention, the assembly formed by the container and the nozzle with which said container is equipped comprises at least: one flexible part which, when actuated, causes the product to be discharged; and a first valve which is associated with the nozzle in older to enable the discharge of the product when the flexible part is actuated, but without allowing the ingress of external air when said flexible part is released. The air change and filtration unit is associated with a second valve which allows external air to enter the container when the flexible part is released, but without allowing the discharge of the product or the air housed in said container when the flexible part is actuated The invention is suitable for the packaging and dispensing of sterile products, such as opthamology drops

Abstract:
A manually operated metering pump for a container with a flexible body, comprising a metering chamber (20) between a lower valve (21) and an upper valve (48), a spring-biased push button (34), and a nozzle communicating with the metering chamber (20) via a central channel. The lower valve (21) is flexible and frusto-conical, and the upper valve (48) is supported on a disc (47) forming the base of a hollow rod (43) secured to the push button (34), and engages the bottom of a hollow plunger (32) operated via a push button (34).
Abstract:
The axial passage (15) of the central foot (14) of the membrane support (13) comprises a valve seat (14) applied on the extremity of a hollow stem (5) of the continuous valve to fill the measuring cap (11) during the phase of measuring the amount of material to be dispensed, and which moves away from the extremity of the hollow stem (5) to put in communication the measuring cap and the port (21) during the discharge phase.
