摘要： A mosquito and biting insect attracting apparatus that includes a heat element (a thermal lure), a source of carbon dioxide (CO2), and a source of a chemical biting insect attractant, such as octenol. The heat for the thermal lure and the source of CO2 are provided by a propane flame. The thermal lure includes a structure that surrounds a propane burner and that is heated by the burner to a temperature that is similar to that of a small animal, such as 95 to 115 degrees Fahrenheit. The structure includes a series of baffles and conduction elements that permit the structure to have a substantially constant heat signature, which is desirable for attracting mosquitoes and other biting insects. A mechanism may be provided for trapping or killing the attracted mosquitoes, such as an adhesive substance or an electronic grid.

摘要： A surfboard carrier for securing one or more surfing devices for transport upon a carrying vehicle and including an elongate base having a sliding base slidingly coupled to the main base and having a locking portion. A displacement hinge having a first end and a second end can be coupled to the elongate base at the first end of the displacement hinge. A middle arm can be coupled to the second end of the displacement hinge. A strap having a first end and a second end can have the first end of the strap coupled to the bottom displacement. A lock coupled to the locking portion can be configured to lock the strap to the locking portion in the event the second end of the strap is inserted into the locking portion of the sliding base.

摘要： A lockable carrier mount including a main body, an actuating mechanism and interference locking member, and a securement member. The actuating mechanism is configurable between locked and released configurations. The actuating mechanism includes rotatable actuator having a blocking portion with at least one protrusion extending radially further from a rotational axis of the actuator than other parts of the blocking portion. The interference locking member is coupled to the main body and has an engagement surface for selectively engaging the blocking portion. The engagement surface can abut the protrusion in the locked configuration to prevent rotation of the actuator relative to the locking member. The securement member is operably coupled to the actuating mechanism and configured to move toward a secured configuration when the actuator is rotated in one direction and move toward a released configuration when the actuator is rotated in an opposite direction.
