In a method for protecting sensor data from manipulation, in the context of an authentication of the sensor, a number used once is sent from a control unit to the sensor, the sensor generating with the use of the number used once a cryptographic authentication message and sending at least a first part of the cryptographic authentication message to the control unit. In addition, the sensor data are provided with a cryptographic integrity protection, time-variant parameters being added to the sensor data and the sensor data being sent with the cryptographic integrity protection and the added time-variant parameters from the sensor to the control unit. For calculation of the initial parameters, at least a second part of the cryptographic authentication message is utilized.

The hydrocarbon absorbing element may absorb hydrocarbons at the clean air side of an air stream flowing through the media filter and into a combustion engine system.

The invention provides for a method of encoding data and a method for decoding encrypted and authenticity protected data. Furthermore, the invention provides for an encoding and a decoding equipment. For encoding the data is encrypted by using AES encryption (16, 52) and authenticity protected by calculating a CMAC algorithm (26) over the data.
Abstract:
A tripod device and system for mounting a camera and tracking movable objects includes a base with a camera mount, a processor, a user interface, actuators for rotating and tilting the camera mount, and a plurality of pendants. Each pendant includes a transmitter for transmitting a unique signal for receipt by a receiver in communication with the processor. The processor includes programming for determining the direction of a signaling pendant and for moving the camera mount to follow a selected pendant. The user interface enables a user to select a mode of operation, such as tracking a selected pendant, alternating between two or more pendants, or facing an area having the most pendants. Each pendant includes a receiver and a visual indicator for indicating when it is the active subject pendant. This invention provides for taping a birthday party having multiple persons to be taped according to selected modes.
