摘要: A jack assembly is provided in which the central body of the assembly includes integrally cast posts for aligning and securing follower springs, wiper springs and spacers. To assemble the jack, the follower springs, wiper springs and spacers are stacked onto the posts and then secured with a pushnut that engages the posts with a friction fit, avoiding separation from the central body.

摘要: The present insulation displacement contact wire insertion tool that is used to enable a craftsperson to perform the various wire manipulation tasks required to insert and remove wires in insulation displacement contact connectors and terminal blocks. The wire insertion tool enables the craftsperson to place the wire in a stuffer blade that protrudes from the tip of the wire insertion tool while also threading the wire through a pair of wire cutting blades. The craftsperson can use the stuffer blade to press the wire into the insulation displacement contact and then operate the spring loaded cutting blades to cut the length of wire and receive an audible feedback that sufficient force has been applied to perform the operation. The single action of pressing the wire on to the insulation displacement contact both compresses the spring, installs the wire on the insulation displacement contact, and provides the audible feedback. The audible feed back is provided independently of whether the selector is set to cut the wire or to disable the wire cutter. The craftsperson can therefore perform the wire insertion and wire cutting functions with a single tool and with a single motion. The wire insertion tool also houses additional working blades for use by the craftsperson and can be set into a non-cutting mode where the tool installs the wire on the insertion displacement contact without cutting the wire.

摘要: A device to create such turbulence in water normally held motionless in a toilet that splashing and spattering is suppressed when solids, liquids, or both are inserted in a traditional manner. This device includes a submerged, motor driven rotor which when rotated rapidly causes the desired hydraulic turbulence. Appropriate switches are provided to accommodate the various ways in which a toilet is operated. A mounting bracket for hanging the device on any given toilet is provided. This same bracket also permits adjustment of the rotor's height to achieve proper submersion. A power cord is provided for connecting the splash suppressor to an electrical power source. A fluid resistant housing is provided for the motor and switches. This same housing extends from the motor to form a housing for the submerged rotor.

摘要: A device to place osseous implant substances into interdental alveolar bone defects. This device is an osseous implant syringe with an axial lumen of consistent cross-section to allow movement of the granular substance through the lumen. The granular substance is moved through the lumen by use of a syringe plunger member. Barrel caps are provided to prevent spillage of the osseous implant substance when the syringe is not in use. The outlet of the syringe is sufficiently small to effectively enter alveolar bone defects. An extension nozzle member is provided for those areas that cannot be reached by the syringe barrel member alone. An outlet cap can be placed over the extension nozzle member to prevent spillage when it is not in use. Furthermore, a plunger extension lengthens the syringe plunger member to completely dispense the osseous implant substance from the extension member. A curved extension nozzle member can also be attached to the end of the syringe barrel member to reach those areas that cannot be reached with a straight barrel. A filling device is provided for fast and efficient loading of the syringe barrel members.

摘要: Proposed is a connector assembly for electrically coupling a shielded cable to a ground plane. The assembly includes a metal shroud with pins for press-fitting to the ground plane, and a plug with a shield connection clamped or taped to the cable shield. Ground connections are provided by two paths: one from the drain wire of the cable through a signal contact in the plug and the other through the shield connection and shroud. Spacers in the shroud provide a keying function while permitting end-to-end stacking of plugs. Latching features on the plug and shroud hold the plugs in position and prevent insertion of the plug in the wrong orientation. Heat stakes in the plug can be used for the latching feature.

摘要: A syringe resheathing and holding device (10) for lockably receiving the needle sheath (16) of a hypodermic syringe (20) to permit unsheathing and resheathing using only one hand. The resheathing device (10) comprises a base member (12) for being supported and at least one sheath holder (14). The sheath holder (14) includes sidewalls (22), and a first end portion (24) and a second end portion (26), the first end portion (24) being secured to the base member (12). Further, the sheath holder (14) is provided with a sheath receptor (28) for lockably receiving the needle sheath (16). A suitable locking means is also provided for releasably locking the sheath (16) in the sheath receptor (28) while the syringe is being unsheathed and resheathed.
