    摘要: An apparatus for preparing coffee extract is equipped with a water feeding structure (1, 12), with an extracting receptacle (4) for receiving ground coffee (5), the receptacle (4) having an outlet (6) for dispensing coffee extract, with a water conduit (3) for conducting water from the water feeding structure (1, 2) towards the extracting receptacle (4), and with a flow heater (7) for heating water and generating steam in the water conduit (3). Gurgling of the apparatus is prevented or reduced in that a buffer storage (8, 11) is provided in or in communication with a portion of the water conduit (3) between the water feeding structure (1, 2) and the flow heater (7) for accommodating a volume of water which is variable in response to pressure fluctuations in the portion (9) of the conduit (3) between the water feeding structure (1, 2) and the flow heater (7).

    摘要: A household appliance has a fluid dispensing system for dispensing a fluid (2) and a dosing system for dosing an additive into the fluid (2). The fluid dispensing system comprises fluid supply means (3,8), a dispensing nozzle (5), and a conduit (6) connecting the supply means to the dispensing nozzle (5). The dosing system comprises an additive reservoir (14) for containing the additive (12) and an outlet (22) connecting the additive reservoir (14) to the dispensing system. Pumping means (8,15,16) are provided for pumping the fluid (2) and the additive (12) towards the dispensing nozzle (5). A reliable dosing of additive is achieved in that the outlet (22) of the additive (12) communicates with the conduit (6) in a position downstream of said pumping means. A dispensing system for such an appliance is described.
