    Abstract: A detecting device includes a plurality of sensor electrodes provided to a detection region, a power supply circuit configured to generate a second reference potential that fluctuates periodically based on a first power supply potential that is substantially constant with respect to a first reference potential serving as a fixed potential and generate a second power supply potential that is substantially constant with respect to the second reference potential, and an AFE circuit configured to supply a drive signal to the sensor electrodes, acquire a detection signal generated in the sensor electrodes, and output a square wave signal in synchronization with the drive signal.

    Abstract: A detection device includes a shield layer provided with a shield electrode and a shield electrode connection wiring connected to the shield electrode, and a sensor layer located over the shield layer and provided with a sensor electrode and a sensor electrode connection wiring connected to the sensor electrode. The shield electrode has the same planar pattern as the sensor electrode and overlaps the sensor electrode. The shield electrode connection wiring has the same planar pattern as the sensor electrode connection wiring and overlaps the sensor electrode connection wiring.

    Abstract: According to an aspect, a detection device includes: a plurality of first sensor electrodes disposed side by side in a first direction and a second direction intersecting the first direction; and a plurality of second sensor electrodes disposed side by side in the first direction and the second direction. One of the second sensor electrodes overlaps a plurality of first sensor electrodes out of the first sensor electrodes in planar view. Each of the second sensor electrodes has a plurality of electric-field transmission regions. One of the electric-field transmission regions overlaps a corresponding one of the first sensor electrodes in planar view and does not straddle two first sensor electrodes in planar view.

    Abstract: A detection device includes: a detector including first electrodes and second electrodes disposed around a the first electrodes; a detection circuit configured to detect proximity of an external object to the detector; a power circuit configured to generate a square wave; and a filter that is coupled to the power circuit through an isolator and configured to receive the square wave transmitted through the isolator. The filter includes a low-pass filter circuit and a digital potentiometer. A periodically oscillating potential based on output from the filter is provided as a reference potential of the power circuit and provided to the second electrodes. A reference potential of the filter is a fixed potential. The power circuit can change the frequency of the generated square wave. The filter can change the frequency of the periodically oscillating potential in accordance with an electric resistance value of the digital potentiometer.
