    Abstract: A force detection apparatus includes: a force detector that includes an electrode and a conductor facing the electrode across a first and a second layers and outputs a force signal value before correction; and a force detection controller outputting a force signal value after correction having a linear relationship with a force. In a first range of force in which the first layer is deformed and the second layer is not deformed, the force detection controller calculates the force signal value after correction, based on a product of the force and a first constant. In a second range of force in which the first and second layers are deformed, the force detection controller calculates the force signal value after correction, based on a sum of a product of a threshold and the first constant and a product of a difference between the force and the threshold and a second constant.

    Abstract: A detection device and a display device include first electrodes, second electrodes, a detector, and a coupling circuit. The first electrodes are disposed side by side in a first direction and a second direction intersecting the first direction. The second electrodes are disposed on the side facing the first electrodes and extend in the second direction. The detector receives a first detection signal output from the second electrodes based on changes in capacitance between the first electrodes and the second electrodes or a second detection signal output from the first electrodes based on changes in capacitance in the first electrodes.

    Abstract: A display apparatus includes a first substrate, a second substrate, a display functional layer, first electrodes, second electrodes, third electrodes, and a drive circuit. The second substrate faces the first substrate. The display functional layer is provided between the first substrate and the second substrate and used to display an image in a display area. The first electrodes are provided in the display area between the first substrate and the second substrate. The second electrodes are provided, facing the first electrodes, in the display area on the surface of the second substrate. The third electrodes are provided in a frame area on the outer side of the display area. The drive circuit supplies a first drive signal to at least one of the first electrodes and the second electrodes.

    Abstract: A force detection apparatus is provided and includes a first electrode facing an input surface to which an object to be detected applies force, and configured to be supplied with a reference potential; a second electrode and a third electrode facing the first electrode; a first conductor arranged between the first electrode, and the second and third electrodes, and configured to be supplied with a drive signal; a first dielectric layer arranged between the first electrode and the first conductor; and a second dielectric layer arranged between the first conductor, and the second and third electrodes, wherein the second electrode is configured to be supplied with the reference potential, and wherein a signal that is same as the drive signal is supplied in synchronization with the drive signal to the third electrode.
