Abstract: A display system includes a lighting device, a correction coefficient generating circuit receiving a plurality of image data including first image data and second image data, generating a first correction coefficient based on a brightness of the first image data and generating a second correction coefficient based on a brightness of the second image data, and the first image data corresponding to a first image and a second image data corresponding to a second image adjacent to the first image and located on the opposite side of the lighting device, a multiplication circuit generating first corrected image data using the first image data and the first correction coefficient, and generating second corrected image data using the second image data and the second correction coefficient, and a display drive control unit transmitting the first and the second corrected image data to the display panel.
