摘要: A power supply unit for an aerosol generation device, includes: a power supply configured to discharge electricity to a first load that heats an aerosol source; a resistance element configured to be connected in series to the first load and configured to detect an electric resistance value of the first load; and a processing device. The processing device performs first discharging control of discharging electricity from the power supply to the first load to generate aerosol, and second discharging control of discharging electricity from the power supply to a series circuit formed of the first load and the resistance element to detect the electric resistance value of the first load; and in a specific period, other than a period when the first discharging control and the second discharging control are performed, the processing device performs third discharging control of discharging electricity from the power supply to the series circuit.

The processing device determines whether the second load can heat the flavor source. When it is determined that the second load can heat the flavor source, the processing device starts or continues discharging from the power supply to the second load as second discharging before starting discharging from the power supply to the first load as first discharging.

摘要: An aerosol inhaler includes: a first branch circuit including a load, a first resistor, and a first node; a second branch circuit including a second resistor, a third resistor, and a second node; an operational amplifier of which a non-inverting input terminal is connected to one of the first node and the second node, and of which an inverting input terminal is connected to the other of the first node and the second node; and a control device having an upper limit temperature and a lower limit temperature. A differential input of the operational amplifier is larger than potential of a negative power supply terminal of the operational amplifier or a minimum value acquirable by the operational amplifier in a first temperature range, and is equal to the potential of the negative power supply terminal of the operational amplifier or the minimum value in a second temperature range.

When the adhesion or the entry is detected, the processing device executes at least one of a notification action that causes the notification unit to execute a notification and a first fail-safe action including prevention of discharging from the power supply to the second load.
