摘要: A device for an exercise apparatus includes a linear adjustment system and a sensor coupled to the linear adjustment system. The exercise apparatus includes a loading interface and a frame coupled to the loading interface for performing an exercise. The linear adjustment system fixes the loading interface of the exercise apparatus at any one of a plurality of functional positions in a functional range of the loading interface. The sensor measures the force exerted on the linear adjustment system. A correlating mechanism is used to correlate the force exerted on the linear adjustment system with the force exerted on the loading interface. The device allows exercisers to exert high or maximum loads in any one of a plurality of positions throughout their entire range of motion without first passing through a weak range of motion.

摘要: An exercise device comprises a base. A power mechanism and a vibration mechanism are each disposed in the base. The power mechanism powers the vibration mechanism. The vibration mechanism provides linear vibrations through the base of the device in a first axis parallel to a longitudinal axis of a user standing on the base. In some embodiments, the device is substantially free of vibration in a plane orthogonal to the first axis and is substantially free of rotational vibration in any direction at a time when the vibration mechanism provides the first plurality of linear vibrations. In some embodiments, the vibration mechanism operates between 10 and 60 Hz. In some embodiments an exercise kit is provided that includes the referenced exercise device, an exercise bar, and one or more elastic bands, each elastic band for removably coupling the base to the exercise bar.

摘要: A computing system for determining osteogenic loading from an exercise apparatus for performing an exercise is provided. The exercise apparatus includes a loading interface, a frame, a linear adjustment system interposing between and fixedly coupled to the loading interface and the frame, and a sensor coupled to the linear adjustment system. A position of the loading interface of the exercise apparatus is adjusted through a movement of the linear adjustment system at one or more intermediate positions of a plurality of functional positions of the loading interface. A force exerted by a subject on the loading interface at the position in the one or more intermediate positions is received. A measurement of the force exerted by the subject on the loading interface at the position in the one or more intermediate positions from the sensor is obtained. A corresponding osteogenic loading for the force exerted by the subject is determined.

摘要: Systems and methods providing sensory feedback at an exercise bar are provided. (A) A longitudinal axis of a center shaft of the exercise bar is offset. An amount of a strain on the exercise bar is determined when offsetting the longitudinal axis of the center shaft. One or more instructions is communicated causing a controller to change a respective state of a sensory output mechanism of the exercise bar based on the determined amount of the strain. The one or more instructions is configured to cause a user operating the exercise bar to sense the change in the respective state of the sensory output mechanism.
