摘要： The invention relates to a method for transferring information in data transmission flows between a first (MS) and a second communication device (SH), in which method at least one data transmission connection is established between the first (MS) and the second communication device (SH). The data transmission is divided into at least an application layer (AL), a network layer (NL), and a link layer (LL), wherein packets (502, 505, 508) of the data transmission flow formed in the application layer from the information to be transferred, are modified into network layer packets (509) according to the network layer protocol. The network layer packets (509) are transmitted by means of one or more data transmission channels preferably in link layer (LL) packets (506, 510), to which an information part is established to transfer the information to be transmitted, and at least a first (504) and a second header part (MCML) to transmit identification data on the data transmission flow. In the method, at least one header part (MCML) is transmitted after the information part.

摘要： The invention relates to a method of transmitting packet data from a first subsystem to a wireless terminal device via the network node of a second subsystem. In the method, at least one filter is formed to guide mapping of at least one data flow of the first subsystem to at least one data flow of the second subsystem. At least one filter is attached to at least one data flow of the second subsystem. The filter comprises at least part of the interface identifier of the IP address, which at least part of the interface identifier is allocated in the wireless terminal device. Hereby, mapping of the data flow of the first subsystem to the data flow of the second subsystem is performed on the basis of the interface identifiers of the destination IP addresses in the received packets.

The method includes negotiating identifiers identifying a data flow of the first subsystem via a separate signalling element during the set-up of an application-plane logical connection of the terminal. The identifiers are transmitted from the signalling element to the network node. In the method, a filter is generated at least on the basis of the identifiers for directing the mapping of at least one data flow of the first subsystem to at least one data flow of the second subsystem. The filter is bound to at least one data flow of the second subsystem, and at least one data flow of the first subsystem is mapped to at least one data flow of the second subsystem on the basis of the filter.

In order to enable a second unit providing or forwarding the data packets to the node to influence the QoS for the transmission, it is proposed that the method comprises transmitting data packets of a specific data flow from the node to the first unit using a quality of service treatment which is selected based on a quality of service treatment associated with a quality of service identifier. The quality of service identifier is inserted by a second unit to each packet of the specific data flow. The invention relates equally to a terminal equipment, to a node, to a mobile communication network and to a system comprising means for realizing the proposed method.
