    摘要: A process for producing an absorbable biocompatible medical suture yarn includes the step of spin drawing a bioabsorbable polymer to form suture filaments. A spin finish using a non-aqueous based carrier is applied to the filaments during processing, and an air entangling step is used after the filaments are combined to form the suture yarn.
