摘要： A method for preventing fungal diseases in crops which comprises the steps of: (a) applying to a crop an aqueous or a non-aqueous spray composition which includes a pesticide and a spray adjuvant including a solvent and an emulsifier, wherein the solvent is a mixture of aliphatic hydrocarbons having a distillation range of about 520 to 600° F. and an aromatic content of about 1% or less, or the solvent is a single or combination of C6-C18 fatty alcohol(s); and (b) applying chlorothalonil to the crop previously to, simultaneously with, or subsequently to the application of the aqueous spray composition, wherein phytotoxicity associated with the application of chlorothalonil is reduced or eliminated.

摘要： Apparatus and method for gauging and rounding, at room temperature, a section of fully formed seamless ductile iron pipe that has an out-of-round initial cross-section profile and/or a larger than desired initial gauge. The apparatus includes a set of hour-glass shaped gauging/rounding rolls arranged so that the combined profiles of adjacent rolls forms a substantially continuous circular of precise diameter. In operation, the ductile iron pipe is passed though the opening in the set of gauging/rounding rolls, thereby causing the pipe to be gauged and rounded. The pipe is conveyed through one or two sets of rolls to accommodate multiple pipe diameters by a transport mechanism consisting of a rail mounted push car which is moved by one or more fluid actuated cylinders anchored to a base in common with the rail.

摘要： An image recording apparatus including a memory element and a processor for a specially programmed general purpose computer. The memory element stores correction data for a plurality of locations on a photoreceptor for the image recording apparatus. The processor is for: inducing a charge on the photoconductive layer; receiving image data including, for said each location in the plurality of locations, a first or second desired voltage level; calculating, using the correction and image data, respective desired output power levels for a LED printbar for the apparatus, aligned with the plurality of locations, to discharge each location to the one of the first or second desired charge level, the respective desired output power levels selected to compensate for variances of respective induced charge levels at the plurality of locations; and supplying respective power inputs to the plurality of LEDs to generate the respective desired output power levels.
