摘要: An exemplary embodiment of the present invention provides a liquid crystal display including: a first insulating substrate; a light blocking member positioned on the first insulating substrate and having a frame portion defining openings for pixels; a step compensated pattern positioned on the first insulating substrate and in one of the openings; a second insulating substrate facing the first insulating substrate; a first electrode formed on the first insulating substrate in the same layer as a second domain dividing unit; a second electrode facing the first electrode and disposed in the same layer as the first domain dividing unit; and a liquid crystal layer interposed between the first electrode and the second electrode, wherein the step compensated pattern overlaps the first domain dividing unit or the second domain dividing unit.

摘要: Exemplary embodiments of the present invention provide a display device including a plurality of sensing unit groups consisting of a plurality of sensing units and arranged in a matrix form. The display device further includes a plurality of gate lines connected to the plurality of sensing units included in a first sensing unit group, at least one sensing signal line connected to the plurality of sensing units, a scan driver transmitting gate signals to the gate lines, and a sensing signal processor processing a sensing signal transmitted by the sensing signal line. The gate lines transmit the gate signals according to different gate clock signals.

摘要: A display device includes a data request unit in a frame rate controller, and requires and transmits necessary data for the frame data buffer receiving and storing the image data of an entire pixel area and the rest of the frame rate controllers. In a case of a motion picture that is moved among a plurality of display areas, the image data corresponding to a plurality of regions is transmitted from the frame data buffer or a plurality of frame rate controllers, and in a case of the motion picture that is moved between neighboring pixel areas, the image data of the neighboring pixel area is transmitted from the frame data buffer or the neighboring frame rate controller for processing. Accordingly, a fast-moving motion picture may be realized without the need for an additional memory.

摘要: A image signal processing method of a liquid crystal display according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes: receiving a previous image signal and a current image signal as two sequential input image signals; performing a first correction (DCC) and a doubling for the current image signal to generate a correction image signal comprising a plurality of doubled frames for the current image signal; and post-processing the portion of the plurality of doubled frames to generate a final correction image signal.
