Abstract: A method for performing Mitsunobu reaction between an alcoholic hydroxyl group donor and an active hydrogen donor, comprising the following steps: reacting the alcoholic hydroxyl group donor and the active hydrogen donor with a trihydrocarbylphosphine reagent and an azodicarboxylate reagent in the presence of an organic solvent, wherein the organic solvent is a linear or branched alkane containing 8 to 16 carbon atoms.
