    摘要: A re-reconfigurable built-in antenna of a portable terminal is provided. The antenna includes an antenna radiator having a feeding pad electrically connected to a feeding portion of a main board of the terminal and at least one ground pad disposed in a position different from that of the feeding pad for selectively establishing an electrical connection to a ground portion of the terminal, and a switching element, commonly connected to the at least one ground pad of the antenna radiator, for selectively establishing an electrical connection to the ground portion by a switching operation. The antenna radiator changes a shape of the antenna radiator by using the selective electrical connection of the ground portion so as to have various operational frequency bands and radiation properties.

    摘要: A built-in antenna device for improving the radiation efficiency in a portable wireless terminal having an external metallic part is provided. The built-in antenna device includes a main board, an antenna radiator, and a conductor. The main board has a feed pad for supplying an electrical signal and a ground pad connected to ground. The antenna radiator is connected electrically to the feed pad and the ground pad of the main board to radiate a signal. The conductor connects the metallic part and the ground pad of the main board. The metallic part and the ground pad of the main board are at the same ground potential.

    摘要: A built-in antenna of a portable terminal and a method of forming the same are provided. The built-in antenna includes a first conductor having a specific length and used for a ground, a second conductor disposed with a specific distance in parallel to the first conductor to couple with the first conductor and used for power feeding, and a separating element disposed between the first conductor and the second conductor to separate the first and second conductors. Accordingly, the built-in antenna may exhibit a smooth radiation property even if a metal construction is used in a device and thus may implement robustness improvement of the device and make the device slim and have an attractive outer appearance. In addition, a method of improving antenna efficiency may prevent deterioration of the radiation property of the antenna radiator of the related art by using simple processing, and the metal construction may be used as a radiator.
