摘要： An image forming apparatus having a printing medium feeding unit is provided. The image forming apparatus includes a driving roller and an idle roller which engage with each other and which feed a printing medium, an elastic member which elastically biases the driving roller toward the idle roller, and a releasing member. The releasing member releases the elastic member when a cover door is opened so that the driving roller and idle roller may be separated from one another to remove a jammed printing medium. Accordingly, when a jammed printing medium is removed, the printing medium is not crumpled or torn, parts of the image forming apparatus are not damaged, and the image forming apparatus does not malfunction.

摘要： A fixing unit and an image forming apparatus using the same. The fixing unit includes: a pair of fixing rollers that rotate and face each other and apply heat and pressure to a toner image transferred to the sheet of paper using electrophotography; a plurality of guide members disposed in the width direction of the sheet of paper to guide the sheet of paper discharged from the pair of fixing rollers to the discharge path, each of the guide members including a first guiding portion extending toward the discharge path from an outlet of the pair of fixing rollers; a first arm rotatably installed between the guide membersthat elastically contact the sheet of paper drawn out of the pair of fixing rollers and guide the sheet of paper to the discharge path; and an elastic member elastically biasing the first arm such that the first arm contacts the sheet of paper, wherein a guide member adjacent to the first arm has a second guide portion that is shorter than the first guide portion.

摘要： In an electrophotographic printer including a photosensitive drum unit having a photosensitive drum, a plurality of development units each having a developing roller, an intermediate transfer unit having a transfer belt to which an image is transferred from the photosensitive drum, a waste toner storage container to store waste toner generated at the photosensitive drum unit and the intermediate transfer unit, and a sheet transport unit which finally holds the image. The electrophotographic printer also includes first through third doors provided to mount or dismount the plurality of development units, the photosensitive drum unit and intermediate transfer unit, and the waste toner storage container, respectively, and a fourth door provided to access the sheet transport unit.

摘要： A transfer unit-fixing apparatus to integrally fix a transfer unit on a door, and an image forming device having the same are disclosed. The transfer unit-fixing apparatus includes a position fixing unit to pivotally support a first part of the transfer unit on the door and a locking unit to lock a second part of the transfer unit to the door. The transfer unit can be easily assembled and disassembled to and from the door by the position fixing unit and the locking unit, and thus the image forming device can be easily assembled, maintained and repaired.
