When the first combining portion and the second combining portion are combined with each other, the driven shaft bends and separates from the driving shaft. The first combining portion and the second combining portion may be screw-coupled to each other.

摘要： An image forming apparatus having a printing medium feeding unit is provided. The image forming apparatus includes a driving roller and an idle roller which engage with each other and which feed a printing medium, an elastic member which elastically biases the driving roller toward the idle roller, and a releasing member. The releasing member releases the elastic member when a cover door is opened so that the driving roller and idle roller may be separated from one another to remove a jammed printing medium. Accordingly, when a jammed printing medium is removed, the printing medium is not crumpled or torn, parts of the image forming apparatus are not damaged, and the image forming apparatus does not malfunction.

The image forming apparatus includes a print unit printing having a plurality of developer cartridges, each of which has a photoreceptor drum disposed therein. A plurality of fixing members are movable between a first position where the developer cartridges are installed and removed and a second position where the developer cartridges are fixed to the print unit. A pinion includes a female screw portion and a first sliding member includes a male screw portion that is engaged with the female screw portion, sliding backwards and forwards as the pinion rotates, and moving the fixing members to the first position or the second position.

The fixing unit includes: a pair of fixing rollers that rotate and face each other and apply heat and pressure to a toner image transferred to the sheet of paper using electrophotography; a plurality of guide members disposed in the width direction of the sheet of paper to guide the sheet of paper discharged from the pair of fixing rollers to the discharge path, each of the guide members including a first guiding portion extending toward the discharge path from an outlet of the pair of fixing rollers; a first arm rotatably installed between the guide membersthat elastically contact the sheet of paper drawn out of the pair of fixing rollers and guide the sheet of paper to the discharge path; and an elastic member elastically biasing the first arm such that the first arm contacts the sheet of paper, wherein a guide member adjacent to the first arm has a second guide portion that is shorter than the first guide portion.

摘要： Provided are a color registration sensing device to detect color registration of a color image to adjust color registration. An electrophotographic color image forming apparatus is also provided that includes a case with a door and the color registration sensing device is disposed on the case. The color registration sensing device includes at least one sensor to detect color registration of a color image, a holder including a cleaning medium which cleans the sensor while making a reciprocating movement between a first position and a second position, and an actuator to move the holder from the first position to the second position when a door of a case of an electrophotographic color image forming apparatus is closed. The holder is set to deviate from a transfer path of paper at the second position.

The rotation of the first gear applies a force acting toward the shaft support potion and the shaft contacts the shaft support portion by the force during rotation so that vibration of the shaft is restricted. An image forming apparatus includes a case having a door that can be opened and closed, a shaft provided in the case, a shaft support portion rotatably supporting the shaft, a shaft gear provided at an end portion of the shaft in a lengthwise direction, and a first gear engaged with the shaft gear and rotating the shaft gear. The first gear is engaged with the shaft gear when the door is closed and disengaged from the shaft gear when the door is open.

摘要： A photoreceptive unit and transfer unit replacement system of a printer includes a door opening and closing an entrance formed above a portion where a photoreceptive unit and a transfer unit are installed in a main body of the printer. A first guide rail is provided at a frame of the main body to guide the photoreceptive unit which enters through the entrance and descends. A second guide rail is provided at the frame to guide the transfer unit which enters through the entrance and descends. A locking unit locks and unlocks the photoreceptive unit and the transfer unit according to an operation of opening and closing the door. Thus, since the operation of opening and closing the door are performed according to the operation of locking and unlocking the respective photoreceptive unit and transfer units, and the photoreceptive unit and transfer units pass through the entrance disposed above the units, a replacement process can be performed more conveniently and stably.
