摘要： The present invention is directed to a Point Specific Junctional Tourniquet Kit designed for the treatment of hemorrhage control of junctional injuries to a patient's torso especially in the area of the iliac (hip/groin area) and axillary (shoulder/armpit area) arteries where blood flow is extremely hard to stop. The complete kit contains a variety of components to give caregivers in the military as well as civilian medical caregivers a means for treating a wide variety of severe injuries, in the pre-ambulance environment, increasing the chances of a victim surviving and reaching a higher level of care.

摘要： A point specific junctional tourniquet is provided having a rotational variable height adjustable point specific compression device including an upper housing, a lower housing rotationally nested within the upper housing and a base with an integral belt/strap guide and a belt/strap having a medical clasp, wherein for height adjustment of said upper housing and pressure form, the user grips the upper housing and the lo Aver housing and rotationally twists the two gripped housings causing the height to increase and after the optimum height is reached, depending upon the injury or wound, the assembled rotational variable height adjustable point specific compression device is secured in place and pressure is applied using the belt/strap, held in place within the belt/strap guide. The point specific junctional tourniquet is provided with a smartphone application for use in emergency situation events as required.

摘要： An extrication splint for injury victims is provided which is assembled beneath the victim at the accident site and assumes the contour of the victim so that he need not be extended into lying position in order to fit on a conventional gurny. The structure consists of a plurality of cross-bars which are slid beneath the victim who may be, for example, in an automobile seat, and a pair of parallel siderails having several jointed segments to accommodate natural bends in the body are assembled to the cross-bars on each side of the victim subsequent to which the rail joints are tightened and the victim is removed on a rigid structure.

摘要： A doubly convertible bicycle wheel hub assembly has an axle housing containing sealed dustproof precision bearings with the axle journalled therein, the ends of the axle housing having annular retainers thereon either one of which can be replaced by a specialized retainer-freewheel mount element which, when the freewheel mechanism is mounted thereto, converts the hub assembly for use on the rear wheel of a bicycle. The freewheel assembly itself utilizes an annular sprocket element for the bicycle chain drive which is very simply removable and replaceable by removing a threaded retainer ring such that the chain drive ratio can be altered without replacing the entire freewheel mechanism.
