摘要： An electrical connector crimping tool die set for crimping an asymmetrical electrical connector onto at least one electrical conductor. The die set includes a first crimping die adapted to be removably mounted to a crimping tool; and a second crimping die adapted to be removably mounted to a movable ram of the crimping tool opposite the first die. The second die includes a generally convex shaped rear side and a generally concave shaped front side. The front side forms a crimping groove with a center axis that is offset from a center axis of the generally convex shaped rear side. The asymmetrical electrical connector can be crimped between the first and second dies at an angle to a center axis of movement of the ram to provide a direction of crimp force substantially along or parallel to the center axis of movement of the ram.

摘要： An electrical connector crimping die comprising a first section for removably connecting the die to an electrical connector compression tool; and a second section connected to the first section for contacting an electrical connector. The second section comprises a generally crescent shaped crimp projection forming a crimp surface and at least one secondary over-crimp prevention surface. The secondary surface is recessed relative to the crimp surface and has a general radius of curvature larger than a general radius of curvature of the crimp surface.

摘要： A die set adapted to remove an end of a substantially flat lug of an electrical connector. The die set includes a first die and a second die. The first die includes a first frame and a spring loaded member connected to the first frame. The first frame includes a first contact surface adapted to directly contact a first side of the lug. The second die includes a second frame having a second contact surface adapted to contact a second side of the lug at a position offset from the first contact surface. The spring loaded member is adapted to contact the first side of the lug directly opposite the second contact surface. The first and second contact surfaces are adapted to shear off the end of the lug from the electrical connector.
