摘要： A door assembly to be attached to a cutout in the side wall of a recreational vehicle for alternatively closing off and providing access to an internal compartment. A body frame is attached to the cut out in the side wall. A door panel is attached by a hinge to the body frame. A pair of push button latch mechanisms, one of which contains an integrated lock, retains the door panel in the closed position. The locking latch may be switched to the locked position when the door is open, automatically locking the door when it is closed. A flexible seal, incorporating a double sealing surface feature, is attached to the perimeter of the door and seats against the frame when the door is closed. The door panel includes a separate door wall and inner and outer door frames which are joined by a retaining clip. The metal retaining clip has a return bent upon itself shape and pointed wedge shaped upset portions for joining the outer and inner door frames. The hinge is formed by portions of the frame and door panel that are flush with or recessed from the maximum protrusion distance of the door panel from the side wall, joined by a hinge pin that is not accessible when the door is closed and which is designed to break away if destructive forces are place on the door assembly.

摘要： A battery operated flush assembly for a portable toilet. The flush assembly includes a pump and motor mounted to the toilet's seat section. A battery pack is removably mounted to the seat section and includes terminals which, as a result of mounting, become coupled to the motor. The battery pack supplies electrical power to the motor and includes an actuator, protected from inadvertent actuation within a recess, for electrically closing the electrical circuit and causing operation of the pump to discharge flush water into the bowl. A check valve, located in-line with the discharged flush water, opens in response to the pumping of flush water and is maintained open with minimal line pressure to increase the life of the battery pack. An O-ring is also used to ensure that the battery pack can be easily removed and reinstalled with a fluid tight seal therearound.

A single actuator is provided for putting the door from a left swing to a right swing and vice versa. In addition, the actuator can secure the door on the cabinet during RV travel. It can also enable easy removal of the door from the cabinet. Cams and cam followers are associated with the cabinet and the door to cause the door to be lifted when opened and lowered when closed to assure easy opening and closing of the door.

摘要： A portable toilet with a movable spout via which accumulated waste contents are dumped at a suitable sanitary disposal station. The portable toilet has separably mounted seat and holding tank sections which are separated for dumping. The spout is rotatably mounted in an aperture in the top wall of the holding tank and is swung from its stored position to a discharge position extending away from the holding tank and the one dumping the tank. A vent valve is also provided in the top wall of the holding tank and it is manually operated by the person dumping the holding tank so as to vent the head space during dumping, and a waste inlet valve on the tank is locked in its closed position during dumping by an auto lock actuating handle which is located adjacent the vent valve and provides a convenient holding handle for the tank during dumping.

摘要： The toilet with a deflector shield covering the flush nozzle to deflect a portion of the flush water. The deflected water flows downward to wet the bowl in the area beneath the flush water nozzle. The undeflected water flows onto a ledge at the upper end of the bowl and flows around the bowl where it gradually falls off the ledge and wets the remaining portion of the bowl. Both a foot pedal and a hand lever are provided for flushing the toilet and a cable is used to couple the foot pedal to the hand lever. The hand lever is operably connected to the flush water valve as well as the bowl discharge opening closure member to open both for flushing of the toilet.

摘要： A tank fill assist for filling a tank or other equivalent volume from a remote source of liquid, for example filling a consumer product from a sink or bathroom faucet with fresh water. The fill assist is normally stowed within the interior of the tank. It is withdrawn for connection to a faucet for tank filling, and is then returned to stowed position after tank filling. The fill assist comprises standard flexible conduit with unique inlet and outlet fittings at opposite ends. The outlet fitting is disposed within the interior of the tank and is constructed and arranged to prevent accidental separation of the fill assist from the tank when the conduit is withdrawn from the tank yet to allow passage through the fill opening when it is intended to either join or separate the fill assist to or from the tank. The inlet fitting is of thermoplastic rubber and can be fitted over the outlets of typical sink and bathroom faucets. A retainer is disposed around the flexible conduit and is axially captured on the conduit between the inlet and outlet fittings. The retainer forms a recepticle within which the inlet fittings nest when the fill assist is stowed. The retainer in turn nests within the fill opening. The retainer comprises apertures in its sidewall which provide an alternate fill patch into the tank which is independent of the fill path through the conduit. The retainer seats on partial internal screw threads formed on the inner wall of the fill opening so that the usual closure cap which has locking tabs which engage the partial screw threads can be screwed onto and off the fill opening in the usual manner without interference from the stowed fill assist.

摘要： A sanitary toilet system with an integral water supply and manual flush assembly for a recreational vehicle in which a flush water supply tank is provided adjacent a recreational vehicle wall with an inlet extending through the wall, thus eliminating plumbing within the vehicle between a water inlet and the supply tank. A manually operated piston pump is provided in which a clearance exists between the piston and the pump cylinder allowing water to flow past the piston during operation of the pump. This reduces the forces necessary to operate the pump in comparison to a piston in sealing relation to the cylinder.

摘要： A toilet having a foot pedal flush control comprising two pedals, one for opening a toilet bowl discharge outlet and the other for supplying flush water to the bowl. The pedals both operate through actuation cables having a wire member slidable within a conduit. The flush water pedal can be independently actuated to partially fill the bowl prior to use of the toilet while the outlet closure member pedal coacts with the flush water pedal so that upon opening of the bowl outlet, the flush water pedal is depressed providing water to the bowl. The wire members are solid wire members coupled to the pedals for both pull and push operation so that upon a failure of the pedal return mechanism, the pedals can be manually returned closing the bowl outlet and terminating the flow of flush water to the bowl.
