摘要： A communication system employable with a communication device coupled to an E-commerce database via a communication network, and method of operating the same. In one embodiment, the communication system includes an input engine configured to receive a query from the communication device directed to the E-commerce database. The communication system also includes a context engine configured to create a database representation of information within the E-commerce database and generate a representation of the query to match the information in the database representation. The communication system further includes a commerce portal browser configured to access and deliver an associated web page from the E-commerce database based on the match with the database representation. The communication system still further includes a response engine configured to process the associated web page and provide a response in a format consistent with the communication device based thereon.

摘要： A user interface help dialog for a computer system is provided in which the computer system has a plurality of system parameters and the user interface includes a plurality of command options that may be enabled or disabled. A cursor for indicating one of the command options is also provided. To generate the help dialog the identity of a disabled command option to which the cursor indicates is first identified. The status of a subset of the system parameters is then evaluated, the system parameters subset being determined in dependence on the identified command option. A help dialog to be displayed to the user is then generated, the content of which is dependent on the status of the evaluated system parameters.

摘要： A method of locating a specified portion of a digital data stream in each of a plurality of visual representations of the data stream, the method comprising: determining the value of a first data stream location unit corresponding to the specified portion of the digital data stream for a first one of the data stream visual representations, the first data stream location unit being specific to the first data stream visual representation; causing a first data processing entity associated with the first data stream visual representation to convert the first data stream location unit to a second data stream location unit; transmitting the second data stream location unit to each of a plurality of further data processing entities, each further data processing entity being associated with a further one of the plurality of visual representations; and causing, in response to receiving the second data stream location unit, each of the further data processing entities to convert the second data stream location unit to respective further data stream location units specific to the associated data stream visual representation, whereby each further data stream visual representation corresponds to the portion of the data stream specified in the first visual representation.
