摘要： A transfer wheel assembly is provided for mounting on disabled railway vehicles to enable the disabled vehicle to be safely moved. The transfer wheel assembly includes a pair of transfer wheels for mounting on a pair of rails. Each wheel is rotatably mounted to a support frame. The support frame, in turn, is mountable on the truck of the disabled vehicle. The support frames are connected to one another by a spreader bar which maintains the proper spacing between the support wheels.
