摘要: An easy access shower base assembly is disclosed which generally comprises a shower base, a ramp, and clips for attaching the ramp to the shower base. The shower base comprises a basin, a generally horizontal front ledge at the front of the basin, with a lip depending downwardly from the front edge of the ledge, and a generally horizontal boundary ledge, vertically higher than the front ledge. The ramp has a thin front edge and a thicker back edge, the thickness of the back edge being less than the height of the lip. The ramp is substantially the same length as the front ledge and the back edge of the ramp is generally even with the front ledge of the shower base. The ramp extends angularly downward from the back edge to the thin front edge. Also in the preferred embodiment, the shower base assembly further comprises at least one water trap for collecting water from the boundary ledge and for causing the collected water to drain into the basin of the shower base.

摘要: A composition of matter especially for the formation and development of wear surfaces of decorative or aesthetic character is provided which comprehends a matrix and discrete reforcing elements embedded in the matrix. The matrix is resin-based with the resin being hydrogenated bis-phenol A which is mixed with a suitable low profile additive, a catalystic agent, a flame retardant, an extender, and a inhibitor while the reinforcer is constituted of glass fiber particles. The method for preparing such composition comprises the intermixture of the matrix ingredients into a blend having a viscosity with the range of approximately 60,000 to approximately 100,000 centipois; to such blended mixture there is then added a viscosity increasing agent but with the glass fibers being introduced prior to the interreaction of the viscosity increasing agent; agitation being provided to bring about appropriate intermixture of the glass fibers and with such mixture being stored for a sufficient period at a predetermined temperature to permit the viscosity increasing agent to bring about a high level of viscosity. The then partial cure is now in condition for final cure through the particular compression mold process for creation of the intended article to be produced.

摘要: A countertop clamping apparatus and method for use thereof are described which facilitate installation of a countertop or other shelving constructions, particularly those having a mitered corner. The apparatus includes elongated plates having longitudinal flanges and is fixed to the under surfaces of the countertop sections to be joined. Modified C-clamps connect the flanges for facile tightening by either a right or left handed installer and the apparatus may comprehend a drip catching slat between the elongated plates and seam to be joined for decreasing spills during gluing or otherwise filling of the countertop seam.

摘要: A attachment for a two-wheeled hand truck cart enabling one person to lift and transport bulky items such as banquet tables and chairs. The attachment includes a rigid base plate with suitable hooks for attaching the plate to the cart frame. Two pair of projecting prong members are adjustably positioned on the rigid base plate. The pairs of prong members are vertically spaced from each other forming a spacing to accommodate items to be lifted.

摘要: For use with a building interior recess construction, such as, a stud pocket, a bathtub and alcove construction wherein there is provided a bathtub, and a back panel and a pair of side panels comprising a surround for said bathtub. First clip members are provided for fixedly engaging the bathtub to adjacent portions of the recess construction; and with there being second clip members also engaging said bathtub for cooperating with retainer elements carried on the back panel to assure of appropriate disposition of the developed surround with respect to the bathtub. The back panel contains at opposite ends forwardly directed, relatively shallow corner portions, each of which is provided with a vertically extending groove. Each side panel along one edge portion is provided with a tongue-like flange dimensioned for reliable and snug reception with the adjacent groove of the back panel. Brace elements are also provided for rigidifying the connection between the bathtub and a front apron integrally formed therewith.

摘要: Compositions and methods of treating textiles are disclosed. More specifically, stable compositions and methods for softening a wide range of fabrics are disclosed, including 100% cotton and hydrophobic synthetic fabrics, without detrimentally affecting the water absorbency properties of the fabrics. The compositions and methods provide desirable odor control without interfering with the stability of the product. The compositions contain at least one fatty material, water-dispersible polyolefin or at least one water-soluble or waterdispersible polyorganosiloxane, and at least one bleaching agent, preferably hydrogen peroxide. The compositions may optionally contain discrete, individual polymer particles, preferably polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), polyvinyl acetate (PVA), polyvinyl acetate/acrylic copolymer (PVA/a), or a combination thereof. The compositions are particularly useful when added to the rinse water in the laundering process, or in the final scouring of a fabric finishing operation.
