Abstract: A window regulator includes a guide rail provided on a door of a vehicle and arranged along an ascending/descending direction of a window on the door, a carrier plate that slides on the guide rail and moves together with the window, a drive unit including a drum rotationally driven by a motor, cables coupled to the carrier plate at one end and coupled to the drum at an other end, and a stopper that contacts with a contact portion of the carrier plate at a position where the carrier plate is located when the window is fully closed. The stopper and the guide rail are placed side by side in a front-back direction of the vehicle.

Abstract: A window regulator includes a carrier plate, a wire to pull the carrier plate, a slide member including a main body attached to an end of the wire and a flange at a base end of the main body, and a spring to apply a tensile force to the wire. The carrier plate includes a housing portion including a bottom surface, the housing portion accommodating the spring. A grease storage portion for storing grease is formed between the flange and the bottom surface. A protruding portion is formed on one surface out of the bottom surface and the end face so as to protrude from the one surface and comes into contact with the other surface out of the bottom surface and the end face to restrict an advancing position of the slide member. The protruding portion is deformed by the contact such that a protruding length thereof is reduced.

Abstract: A window regulator includes a guide rail provided along an ascending/descending direction of a window, a carrier plate that slides on the guide rail and moves together with the window, and an ascending-side cable for pulling the carrier plate in the ascending direction and a descending-side cable for pulling the carrier plate in the descending direction. The carrier plate includes a descending-side housing portion and a pressing portion. The descending-side housing portion houses an end of the descending-side cable and a spring provided to apply a tensile force to the descending-side cable. The pressing portion is configured to press toward the guide rail the descending-side cable extending out of the descending-side housing portion.
