    摘要: A corner key assembly for a sliding panel system including a panel frame and a movable panel can include a corner key including a distal and proximal end, and a guide chamber being defined in the corner key, the guide chamber extending from the distal end towards the proximal end of the corner key; a guide slidingly movable relative to the corner key, at least a portion of the guide being configured to be positioned in the guide chamber and a portion of the guide being configured to extend from the guide chamber; and a biasing element positioned in the guide chamber between the guide and the proximal end, the biasing element configured to urge a portion of the guide from the guide chamber away from the corner key and into frictional engagement with the panel frame to hold the panel in a desired position relative to the panel frame.

    摘要: An assembly that allows for incremental displacement of a window or door sash relative to a frame. Such a window or door system may include a handle exposed outside the window or door, retractable pins located on a sash of the window or door and holes on jambs of the window or door. The pins may be inserted into the holes to prevent the window or door from being moved if the handle is not turned. Turning the handle may pull the pins out of the holes and allow the window or door to move. A spring or similar mechanism may cause the pins to return the pins' protruding state when the handle is not being turned. The user may open the window or door to a desired open position by turning the handle and may lock the window or door at the opened position by releasing the handle for the pins to be inserted into corresponding holes for locking.

    摘要: A spacer that attaches to a window sash in order to create an improved window construction. The window construction has a window frame with side tracks. A window sash is set within the side tracks of the window frame. Gap spaces exist between the window sash and the side tracks. To prevent cocking, spacers are provided. The spacers attached to the sides of the window sash inside the tracks where the spacer is not visible. Each spacer has a base, a spring arm that extends from the base, and a contact head that is supported by the spring arm. The base is mounted to the window sash within a gap space. The spring arm extends into the gap space and biases the contact head toward the side track. The contact head also presents a physical barrier to lateral movement. This inhibits the sash from cocking within the window frame.
