摘要： A toy animal having a rigid body with movable legs, head and tail, is operated by internal gear mechanisms powered by a single, reversible, battery-powered motor operated in different directions. A hand controller is attached to the body to actuate the single motor in a selected direction to either move a plurality of legs to cause movement of the body while wagging the animal's tail, and to then cause the toy animal to urinate, or to move the head and actuate a tongue held in the head to lick a person holding the toy animal, or ingest fluid. The toy animal may also include a speaker and related circuitry that is actuated to cause the toy animal to make sounds, such as a bark, panting, a whimper and/or a tinkling sound at appropriate times.

摘要： A method of insert molding a preformed item into a molded product, the molded product being formed by injecting a moldable material into a mold, is disclosed. The method includes adhering the preformed item to a surface of the mold with an adhesive, wherein the surface to which the preformed item is adhered is free of any features provided for holding the preformed item in place on the mold surface. The method next includes injecting the moldable material into the mold such that the moldable material at least partially surrounds the preformed item, and curing the moldable material. Articles molded via the disclosed method are also described.

摘要： A doll head supports a pair of retracting mechanisms which provide a rotating spool upon which a quantity of hair forming a hair bundle is wound. The retracting mechanisms are operated in response to the child user squeezing the extending portion of the mechanisms at the base of the hair bundles in a simulated hair-cutting action. Each squeeze of the simulated scissors triggers an incremental spring-driven retraction of the hair bundle thereby shortening the hair bundle and simulating hair-cutting. A releasable latch mechanism operative within the retracting mechanisms allows the hair bundles to be drawn outwardly to their maximum length to repeat the hair-cutting cycle.
