摘要： Provided are a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) reader interface supporting multiprotocol-based heterogeneous readers, and an event management apparatus and method therefor. The interface supports communication between heterogeneous readers and application systems, and remarkably reduces the amount of data to be sent to the application systems through event generation and data filtering. The interface includes: a reader connection management unit for and establishing connection between the RFID readers and the application systems; a reader transmission/reception processor for receiving tag data from the RFID readers or sending application system data to be converted into individual protocol data; the protocol processor for converting the tag data into the individual protocol data to support the heterogeneous RFID readers; and the middleware transmission/reception processor for sending the tag data converted into the common protocol data to the application systems or an RFID event management device, or receiving the application system data from the application systems.
