    摘要: The present invention provides a nutritionally useful highly concentrated amino acid solution. In an embodiment, the formulation has a broad amino acid profile that is both high in branched chain amino acids and high in overall percent of amino acids. Additionally, the present invention provides a method of selecting the amino acid profile so as to obtain a maximum amino acid concentration. To this end, a stable amino acid solution having a nutritionally appropriate balance of amino acids comprising a total amino acid concentration equal to or greater than 18% (wt/vol) is provided. In an embodiment, an amino acid solution is provided comprising approximately 18 to about 22% branched chain amino acids (wt/wt); and a total amino acid concentration equal to or greater than 18% (wt/vol).

    摘要: An operator for controlling the movement of a window sash relative to a frame with a raised surface along a frame sill thereof, wherein the operator includes a base having a first support surface, an aperture and a bottom exterior surface with a slot therein, the base attached to the frame with the raised surface fitting substantially within the slot. The operator also includes a cover secured to the base and having a second support surface with a hole therethrough defining an internal shoulder, the second support surface mating with the first support surface. A post extends from the cover and through the aperture in the base when the operator is assembled. An arm is pivotally secured to the post and attachable to the sash to control the movement of the sash between open and closed positions. A worm drivably engages the arm and has a worm shaft and a worm shoulder disposed on the worm shaft. The worm is directly supported by the first and second surfaces at one end and the worm shoulder engages the internal shoulder as the worm shaft protruding from the hole.

    摘要: The present invention provides novel compositions of allosteric hemoglobin modifiers which are substantially free of impurities, specifically polymeric impurities. In one embodiment, the novel compositions contain an allosteric hemoglobin modifier compound and less than 100 ppm of the polymeric impurities generated during the preparation of this compound. Included in the present invention are novel methods for preparing allosteric hemoglobin modifiers that are substantially free of polymeric impurities. Also included in the present invention are improved methods for the purification of the product formed by the method of this invention. The novel methods of purification comprise extracting the crude composition with a water immiscible or partially immiscible solvent such as methylisobutyl ketone (MIBK) to lower amounts of impurities, specifically polymeric impurities. Also included are methods to reduce impurities by recrystallization of the crude synthesized product, followed by filtration of the recrystallized product. The present invention also includes the products made by the processes of the invention and methods for analyzing compositions comprised of these products.
